FIREBURST SATIN
(officially the Gibson LPJ) is an American-made, stripped-down electric guitar introduced as a high-quality, budget-friendly option in Gibson’s 2013 and 2014 model years. It features a mahogany body with a carved maple top, a maple neck with a rounded ’50s profile, and a minimalist satin nitrocellulose finish.
- Body & Top: Constructed from a mahogany back with traditional weight relief and a carved maple top.
- Neck: Features a maple neck with a “rounded ’50s” profile and a rosewood fingerboard containing 22 frets and classic trapezoid inlays.
- Electronics: The 2014 model is equipped with ’61 Zebra-coil humbuckers for high-output performance. Earlier 2013 versions often used 490R and 498T humbuckers with black covers.
- Finish: The Fireburst Satin (or Satin Fireburst) is a non-reflective, ultra-smooth finish that allows the wood grain to be visible.
- Hardware: Includes a satin chrome Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece, “Max Grip” speed knobs, and vintage-style tuners.

You will be randomly allocated ticket number(s) when ordering and will receive an email confirmation. The total amount of tickets for this competition is (4999). If all tickets do not sell out, the draw will happen on 8th March 2026 regardless.

You may enter the competition online, or for free by post by sending your entry to Guitars Giveaway on a postcard. You must have an account on Guitars Giveaway for your entry to be processed. All details on your entry MUST correspond to the details on your account to receive the order confirmation and ticket number. Postal entries received without a registered account cannot be processed.
The live draw will take place on Guitars Giveaway Facebook page using Google’s random number generator to select the winning ticket number from all Entrants.

The draw is done live on Facebook using a random number generator to determine the winning ticket number. You’ll be contacted directly if you have won.
Can the draw date change?
If all the entries are sold sooner the draw will be brought forward. Keep updated on the confirmed draw date via our Facebook page and website.
