The Gibson LPJ in Chocolate Satin is a solid-body electric guitar designed to deliver classic Les Paul style in a more accessible format. Its weight-relieved mahogany body with a carved maple top is finished in a satin chocolate tone, highlighting the natural grain while keeping the look understated. The set maple neck with a ’50s rounded profile joins the body traditionally, supporting a rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets and trapezoid inlays across the 24.75-inch scale.
Tone comes from a pair of humbuckers, each with independent volume and tone controls, plus a three-way selector switch, offering the familiar Les Paul range from warm, smooth rhythms to more aggressive lead sounds. A Tune-O-Matic bridge paired with a Stopbar tailpiece ensures stable intonation and sustain across the instrument.
The hardware is simple yet functional, with black pickup rings and control knobs providing subtle contrast against the satin finish, standard Gibson tuners on the headstock, and a PLEK-cut nut to improve string seating and playability.
