The PRS SE Mark Holcomb LTD guitar is equipped with a pair of Holcomb’s own Signature Seymour Duncan pickups. The pickup configuration consists of an Alpha at the bridge and an Omega at the neck; which both work together to provide the precise and complex tones that are required by Mark Holcomb and his band. The signature Seymour Duncan pickups produce an excellent level of versatility, with a midrange growl, fierce low-end and bright, tight highs.

Smooth Maple Neck & Ebony Fingerboard

The SE Mark Holcomb LTD’s neck is made from maple which provides a bright sound with tight, sizzling highs, while the ebony fingerboard adds sustain and a snappy attack.

Mahogany Body With Maple Top

The SE Mark Holcomb LTD is crafted with a mahogany body which delivers a warm, rich tone with plenty of depth. Mahogany also offers durability and a tone which will mature over the years, making this guitar a long lasting investment. The mahogany is topped with maple, and a quilt maple veneer which extends the mahogany’s tonal range, making it the ultimate pairing. The guitar also features a double cutaway at the neck joint, allowing easier access to the higher frets.

About Mark Holcomb

Mark Holcomb joined American progressive metal band Periphery in 2011, as their full time guitarist. Holcomb has released four studio albums with the band, as well as an EP; and the band were also nominated for Best Metal Performance at the Grammy Awards in 2017. The band and Holcomb himself are known and respected for their complex rhythms and fierce, aggressive sound which can be achieved with his Signature PRS guitars.
